Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally to create a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom layer into the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange the cooked turkey evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey and spread it from edge to edge so each slider gets some sauce.
- Layer the sliced cheese evenly over the cranberry-topped turkey.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on to form a full sheet of sliders.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onion, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls, letting it drip into the creases between them.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden and slightly crisp.
- Let the sliders rest for about 3 minutes, then slice along the roll lines and serve warm.
Notes
These Turkey Cranberry Sliders are perfect for using leftover holiday turkey. For extra flavor, add a thin layer of stuffing under the turkey or sprinkle the tops with sesame or poppy seeds before baking.
